It’s great, that 1.8 comes with a maintenance mode, but I have some issues with that. A little something at first. There should be a linebreak between the standard text and the individual supplement. (Btw. in the german version there is missing the point at the end of »… haben Zugriff«)\  Activation of the maintenance mode is a little bit struggling for for people with smaller displays or only little practise with the admin interface. 1. Shows the view after opening the settings. (There are some responsive problems.) In the this overview you can see the save button.  2. After opening the maintenance mode, the save button disappears from view. 3. In the next step, when you set the checkmark, the warning with the button »activate« is shown. I think this point is misleading (I’ve read your toggle-discussion on github.), as the users expectation is, that the mode is already activated after click on »activate«. 4. With »activate« only the checkmark is set. Again the users mentioned above do not see the save-button to really activate the mode. I think a simple »OK« or even better »Understood« would be a more accurate term to confirm this warning message. In addition it could be helpful to reorganise this area and set this point to the top, as it would be used far more often than the other settings.
